Murray, KY – Independence Bank in Paducah is working with the Wallace Park neighborhood to help construct a park on the corner of Lone Oak Road and Alben Barkley Drive. The bank has donated the land to the project as well as one thousand dollars. This comes after the bank's original building permit was denied and the community showed interest in constructing a new park. President Danny Evitts says that construction will start as soon as possible.
