Fairview, KY – National Weather Service representatives have confirmed a tornado touched down in Christian County yesterday afternoon. NWS Warning Coordinator Rick Shanklin says an EF-2 Tornado touched down near the TGASK manufacturing plant and tracked four and a half miles to Beaker Road near Fairview. Seven TGASK workers suffered minor injuries. Shanklin says wind speeds from the tornado topped out at 130 miles an hour.
