Nashville, TN – Tennessee State Senator Roy Herron is recovering following a bike accident Sunday in Obion County. Herron was training for an Ironman competition when he lost control of his bicycle. He sustained several broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and a partially collapsed lung. He was life-flighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center. The Senator was released from the hospital Monday to attend the legislative session. He continues to receive treatment.
