Murray, KY – A former Montgomery County youth pastor has received a two-year sentence for statutory rape on a post-trial diversion. Jonathan Tyler Giles pleaded guilty to two charges of statutory rape and one count of solicitation of statutory rape in January. Giles must complete 240 hours of public service, live with his parents out of town and remain enrolled in school. Giles was a youth minister at Spring Creek Baptist Church where he regularly interacted with 70 teens and preteens.
