Clinton, KY – It is unclear whether some 85 residents of a Clinton nursing home will be forced to move after state inspectors found Arbor Place to not be in compliance with Medicare requirements. What issues triggered the findings are also unclear. Most residents depend on Medicare or Medicaid funding to stay at the facility, which the Paducah Sun reports has a troubled past of low ratings. Arbor Place was ranked among the nation's 500 worst facilities and named one of the 10 worst nursing homes in the state. The nursing home's management says if necessary, its staff will find alternative placement and transfer for each resident.
