Paducah, KY – Kentucky State Police are investigating the death Friday of an inmate at the McCracken County jail in Paducah. Authorities say deputy jailers found 47-year-old Mark Bagwell unresponsive in his cell, about two hours after he was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
Police say Bagwell was the only person in his cell and that the investigation so far has found no evidence of foul play. An autopsy is being performed in Madisonville.
