Paducah, KY – The National Weather Service in Paducah warns flooding will continue along the Ohio River throughout this week. Forecasters say minor flooding is already occurring at Cairo, where the river is nearly a foot above flood stage. Low lying areas near the river will be affected. Grand Chain Dam will surpass flood levels by tomorrow, and Brookport Dam is expected to crest above flood stage later this week. Weather officials urge motorists to use caution and not drive over water-covered roads.
