Western Kentucky – More than three inches of rain fell in Calloway County today, followed closely by Trigg County at more than two and a half inches. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reports a few area roads are under water, including KY 97 in Graves County about three miles south of Mayfield. While the counties closer to the Ohio River recorded less rainfall today, Metropolis's Combined Sewer Overflow discharged 1.5 million gallons of untreated wastewater into the Ohio River in a 14-minute period today.
