Henry, TN – Henry, Tennessee is giving serious consideration to installing traffic cameras along Highway 79 and the city's School zone. Mayor Joe Qualls asked aldermen Tuesday to do some independent research on traffic enforcement cameras that would automatically detect speeders. The Paris Post Intelligencer reports Henry would likely enter into a contract with a private company and split ticket proceeds. The option came up at a meeting a day after the city's police chief was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash. Mark Herndon remains in stable but critical condition at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
