Bowling Green, KY – Republican U. S. Senator Rand Paul is in Bowling Green this afternoon for a Tea Party protest rally. Since taking office in January, Paul has advocated for the tea party's agenda. Paul has proposed slashing $500 billion in federal spending. He's also co-sponsoring legislation to revamp Social Security and has proposed constitutional amendments to require a balanced federal budget and limit the number of terms for members of Congress.
