Carbondale, IL – Southern Illinois University at Carbondale has announced four internal finalists to be the school's next provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs. The finalists are College of Science Associate Dean Laurie Achenbach, Department of Africana Studies Chair Joseph Brown, College of Science Dean Jay Means, and Enrollment Management Interim Assistant Provost John Nicklow. WPSD-TV reports the four candidates will participate in public forums to explain how they envision the university's future.
