Metropolis, IL – United Steel Workers Union representatives and Honeywell Corporation officials made some progress after returning to the negotiations table yesterday. Honeywell Spokesman Peter Dalpe says the company has come to a tentative agreement with the union on job rules concerning: job postings, how jobs are awarded to employees, and how employees progress within their positions. The new agreement would keep employees in their positions for longer periods of time, but still allow for promotions. Talks continue today.
