Murray, Ky. – For the second time, Murray's Board of Zoning Adjustments has denied a permit request for a Go-Kart racing track. The Board cast a unanimous no vote yesterday. City Planner Candace Dowdy says the Board deemed the business inappropriate for the proposed Chestnut Street location between the cemetery and park. In an overview hearing, the Board unanimously deemed a Dunkin' Donuts compatible to the proposed location at 300 North 12th Street. Public hearings for the Dunkin' Donuts will take place in May.
