Paris, Tenn. – Henry County sustained more than $500,000 worth of damage from this week's storm system. Emergency Management Director Ron Watkins says that includes $180,000 in damage to private homes and businesses, and about $340,000 in damage to municipal infrastructure like roads and utilities. One mobile home was completely destroyed, and more than 40 homes sustained minor to major damage. He says the county will have about 100 truckloads of debris to remove from this storm alone. Electricity has been mainly restored, though about 500 customers remain without power this afternoon.
