Henry County Storm Damage Week-end Update

By Jacque Day

Paris, Tenn. – Henry County officials now estimate storm damage to top 800-thousand-dollars from a line of severe weather that moved through the region this week. That's up from an initial estimate of half a million dollars. Emergency Management Director Ron Watkins says the county will have about 100 truckloads of debris to remove from this storm alone. Utility workers have restored most electricity, though BPU reports about 100 to 200 customers remain without power this afternoon.
