Fulton County, Ky. – Flooding has forced officials to order a mandatory evacuation of the lower bottom portion of Fulton County, Kentucky. The city of Hickman, Kentucky is also evacuating its downtown and west Hickman areas. Fulton County Emergency Management has announced that shelter is available at the Hickman First United Methodist Church s family life center. Bring clothing and medications. Officials say the levee system continues to be monitored and appears to be in good shape at the present time. So far no evacuations are reported in Lake or Obion counties in Tennessee, though we are seeing reports of flooded roadways in South Fulton, Tennessee.
