Paducah, KY – A Paducah woman was rescued from drowning yesterday after she disregarded road closed signs and capsized her car on Benton Road. Witnesses were able to rescue 52-year-old Caryn Watkins from her submerged vehicle and revive using CPR. Transportation officials warn only a few inches of moving water can sweep a car off a roadway. Local law enforcement officials say they'll write citations to anyone who attempts to travel closed roads.
