Ballard, Carlisle counties, Ky. – Ballard County Emergency Management Director Michael Clarke says since the Missouri levee breaches, things are looking a lot better for Wickliffe and the surrounding communities. The water has gone down a couple of feet. In neighboring Carlisle County, even with the lowering waters flash flooding is still a concern. Emergency Management Director Missy Roland says floodwaters washed out numerous bridges and culverts that lead to the farmlands in lower-lying areas. She reports Bardwell is also still cleaning up from last week's EF-2 tornado.
