Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear has added sixteen more counties to a request for agriculture disaster aid. That includes Trigg, Todd, Calloway and Christian counties. Heavy rainfall and flooding have prevented many farmers from planting their crops. Aid from the USDA would allow farmers to offset any loss of income. The governor previously requested aid for 21 counties in western Kentucky.
