Livingston County, KY – Kentucky State Police have instituted a road block on US 60 in Livingston County to stop unnecessary traffic into and out of the Ledbetter area. The blockade was set up last night in response to reports of people driving into places where local residents have abandoned their homes to floodwaters. Transportation officials warn drivers entering the Ledbetter area on US-60 to be prepared to encounter stopped traffic at the east end of the Tennessee River Bridge.
And on US-60 in eastern Union County, a section near the Union-Henderson County Line has reopened to traffic now that floodwaters have receded from the roadway.
