Hopkinsville, KY – Hopkinsville's city hall may relocate to South Main Street in the near future. Mayor Dan Kemp announced earlier this week he wanted to movie the municipal building to the site of the old Planter's bank downtown. The Kentucky New Era reports that there's also talk of moving the state probation and parole office as well as the police station. If the city council approves these moves, construction could begin as early as late fall.
