Princeton, Ky. – Caldwell County is getting $625,000 for community investment and energy efficiency improvements. Governor Steve Beshear announced Tuesday, the county will receive a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant to build a new health department. An Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant of $125,000 will go toward energy updates at the courthouse. The current Caldwell County Health Department is more than 50 years old. The new 14,000-square-foot facility will be built in Princeton on land owned by the Caldwell County Fiscal Court.
