Massac County, IL – Illinois State Police are conducting Special Traffic Enforcement Patrols throughout the state's southernmost counties next month. Those include Massac, Pulaski, Union, Pope, Hardin, and Alexander Counties. District 22 Commander Captain Harry Masse says the enforcement will likely be issued using increased enforcement and police presence, as well as community education events. The increased patrols are funded through a federal grant.
