Northwest Tennessee – Henry County, Tennessee has opened two shelters certified as tornado-safe. They are Paris Elementary on 650 Volunteer Drive, and Rhea (Ray) Elementary at 115 South Wilson Street, Paris. Both will be open from 5 PM to 5 AM. In more rural parts of Henry County, area churches are providing shelter: Cottage Grove Baptist Church, Puryear Church of Christ, and the Point Pleasant Baptist Church. The Sheriff's Department will provide a deputy at each shelter, for security.
Lake County has a safe room the Lake County Middle School in Ridgley that is open to the community.
