Murray, KY – Last night's storms knocked out some recreation areas in Land Between the Lakes. Redd Hollow Backcountry Area and Rushing Creek Campground will not be open for Memorial Day Weekend due to storm damage. Energy Lake Campground has opened its north entrance on Road 134 only. Several areas on LBL are without power and utility crews will work to restore power after surrounding residential and business areas come back on. Visitors to LBL should be aware of their surroundings. Many trees are unstable due to saturated soil and strong winds. For more information, visit the Alerts and Notices section of LBL.org.
