Todd County, KY – A former Todd County Sheriff owes almost $12,000 in penalties and interest he accrued by paying taxes late. W.D. "Billy" Stokes served as sheriff through the end of last year. The Kentucky New Era reports a state audit has determined Stokes owes the county and Todd officials may have the option to sue Stokes to collect the debt.
