Paducah, KY – Annual payments for a Murray State University extended campus in Paducah won't be due for at least a year. That's when the project is slated to enter its design and construction phases. McCracken County Judge-Executive Van Newberry tells the Paducah Sun the Fiscal Court is shopping around for up to $10 million in bonds for the project. The county is set to pay the majority of the annual bill, splitting the rest among MSU, the city of Paducah, and the Greater Paducah Economic Development Council. The new campus will offer the area its first four-year degree programs and is set for construction off I-24 between Blandville Road and Buckner Lane.
