Paducah, KY – Paducah City Commissioners will spend part of tomorrow night's weekly meeting dealing with an over three quarter of a million dollar budget shortfall. According to the Paducah Sun, city officials don't know where the cuts will be or how they will raise additional revenues. City Manager Jeff Pederson says the entire amount will not need to be balanced immediately. Over 7 hundred thousand dollars of the shortfall will be filled by carryover cash from the current budget. Pederson says however commissioners will need to plan for a smaller revenue stream over the next two years.
