Kentucky – The U.S. Department of Labor is investing $4,276,514 in National Emergency Grant funds to Kentucky. The funds go to cleanup and recovery efforts after severe storms, tornadoes and flooding. The Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet will use the grant to create temporary recovery jobs. FEMA Public Assistance is also available to local governments and certain nonprofits in many counties in the Purchase and Pennyrile regions.
