Murray, KY – A Murray couple has pled guilty to reduced charges in the 2009 killing of 24-year-old Herbert Donald Scandell. Jason and Kayla Workman faced charges for Scandell's murder after his body was found in the back seat of their car. Jason Workman accepted a charge of 1st degree manslaughter, rather than a murder charge. Kayla Workman faced complicity to murder, but that was reduced to tampering with physical evidence. A judge will sentence her June 27. Jason Workman faces sentencing June 17.
