Paducah, KY – It is still uncertain when a Paducah-McCracken County merger option might be placed on the ballot. Despite projections that the work of a committee tasked to study the merger would be over following yesterday's meeting, members are still undecided as to when the option will be ready for a vote. The 21-member committee has been discussing a draft plan since its formation in 2009. The Paducah Sun reports a decision might come at a meeting tentatively planned for June 23rd.
