BG terrorist case without trial date

By Dan Modlin

Bowling Green, KY – Prosecutors were successful in their attempt to have their case against Waad Ramadan Alwan and Mohanad Shareef Hammadi classified as a complex case. That means the judge is allowing prosecutors six months to file all discovery for the file. The defense is asking the judge to suppress evidence obtained through the federal surveillance act. But the judge has not yet ruled on that motion. The two men were living in Bowling Green when they were arrested late last month on a 23 count federal indictment. Another hearing on the case has been scheduled for September 30th.
