Murray, KY – The Illinois Emergency Management Agency and representatives from FEMA have opened a disaster recovery center in Cairo today to assist people affected by flooding. The center gives residents an opportunity to discuss recovery efforts with FEMA and I-EMA officials. The center is located in Emerson Elementary School at 3101 Elm Street and is open from 9 am to 7 pm seven days a week. The center is open today and will close until reopening June 29 through July 6.
