Mayfield, KY – West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative officials say customers needing to report outages can call a backup number, as the company attempts to restore its phone system. WKRECC spokesperson Jamie Sears says some outages have been reported due to severe weather today, but the extent is unknown because regular phone lines are down. Sears says the company is working to restore the regular outage reporting line. That number is 877-495-7322. If customers can't get through there, they should call one of WKRECC's backup numbers, 270-705-2160, or 270-804-8431
