Paducah, KY – The Paducah City Commission has also introduced an ordinance to pay for maintenance to the city's iconic downtown flood-wall murals. Artist Herb Roe would receive over $22,000 dollars for work on five of the pieces. To keep the artwork vibrant, maintenance must be performed to refurbish wear and reapply clear coats. The Wall-to-Wall mural project began in 1996.A vote to approve the ordinance is scheduled for June 28.
