Ledbetter, KY – Residents of Ledbetter voted to allow alcohol sales at Drake Creek Golf Course in a special referendum yesterday. A narrow margin of 50-point-5 percent were in favor of allowing liquor by the drink sales at the course. The Paducah Sun reports more than 25 percent of registered voters turned out, more than the primary election. Drake Creek owner Todd Butts says he plans to apply for a liquor license immediately. The rest of Livingston County remains dry.
