Paducah, KY – Paducah city commissioners approved two measures last night to expand recycling. One supports work with Dream Green, a private curbside recycling company. Officials will gather data from the company for the next couple of years and gauge the public's reaction to their efforts. The commission also voted to accept a grant to help support the city's current recycling program, Greater Paducah Sustainability Project-Recycle. Over $40,000 dollars from the Kentucky Division of Waste Management will bolster the program which collected around 800 tons of recyclable waste last year.
