Nashville, TN – Tennesseans affected by flooding and storm damage in April have until August 9 to file for reimbursement from FEMA. Counties under a disaster declaration between April 25 and 28 include Montgomery, Henry, and Carroll. Counties under a disaster declaration from April 19 to June 7 include Lake, Obion, and Stewart counties. The deadline applies to both. So far, more than 11-thousand people have registered with FEMA in more than 26 Tennessee counties. Federal assistance tops 21 million dollars.
