Monday Night Weather

By Jacque Day

Western Kentucky – During early afternoon storms, McCracken County Meteorologist Beau Dodson says radar showed greater than 100-mile-per-hour winds swept across the Ohio River toward Smithland. Livingston County Emergency Management Director David Koon says damage reports are minimal. A few downed trees and some cosmetic damage to buildings were among the reports. Koon says some roads flooded but cleared up quickly. Dodson says a cold front moving through tonight will likely bring in another line of thunderstorms through the early morning hours. He says the region could encounter high winds, near 60 miles per hour.
