Galbraith on the Attack

By KPR

Frankfort, KY – The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is under fire from independent gubernatorial hopeful Gatewood Galbraith. On July 10th & 11th, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 6th Business Summit & Annual Meeting in Louisville. Invited to speak are Democratic Gov. Steve Beshear, who's seeking re-election,& his Republican opponent, Senate President David Williams. When independent gubernatorial hopeful Gatewood Galbraith got wind of the summit, he lashed out at the chamber for not inviting him. Galbraith claims to have the 5,000 signatures required to get his name on the fall ballot, but he has yet to produce them for the Sec. of State. He has until August 9th. In its response to Galbraith, the chamber says the summit is not a gubernatorial debate, but if the organization decides to sponsor one in the future, any candidates who appear on the ballot will be invited to participate
