Murray, KY – City officials in Paducah approved their budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Mayor Paxton and two city commissioners approved the budget which features a $175,000 allocation for an expansion to the Murray State University Paducah campus. $75,000 was also allotted to the Paducah School of Art in the Lower Town Arts District. Paducah Public Information Officer Pam Spencer says the budget includes no tax increases in addition to a 1% cost of living increase for all employees.
