Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan says she plans to appoint a new Power Board tomorrow if the City Council passes the second reading of a bill meant to reshape the board. The move could eliminate the need for a lawsuit filed by the district attorney to remove Superintendent Johnny Piper along with other board members. The Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle reports if the bill passes a second reading, it will go into effect immediately and require the appointment of a new board.
