Murray, KY – Amy Turner has been selected to succeed Tawnya Hunter as Calloway County Middle School's next principal. Turner has served the past three years as the school's assistant principal. She'll begin in her new position at the start of the next school year. Turner says she will immediately begin the search for a new assistant principal. The Murray Ledger & Times reports Tawnya Hunter was named to a new Calloway County district position to coordinate the implementation of Senate Bill 1.
