Frankfort, KY – Kentucky State Police say preliminary reports indicate six people died on Kentucky roads during the July Fourth holiday weekend. Four people died in motor vehicle wrecks in Calloway, Daviess, Oldham and Pike counties. Two motorcycle crashes also resulted in deaths. The number is unchanged from 2010, when police say five deaths were initially reported and a sixth death was reported later as a result of a traffic crash during the July Fourth weekend.
