Fort Campbell, KY – The US Army announced this weekend it is bringing premeditated-murder charges against former Fort Campbell soldier Brent Burke. This would make Burke's fifth murder trial. Burke is charged with having killed his estranged wife, Tracy Burke, and former mother-in-law, Karen Comer. The previous four trials have resulted in two mistrials and two hung juries. Burke is to remain in civilian jail while the Army begins an Article 32 investigation to determine if there is enough evidence for him to face a court martial.
