Kuttawa, KY – A student on a field trip to Lake Barkley drowned this weekend. 21-year-old Benson Beauchamp, a student with the Kentucky Job Corps in Muhlenberg County, came up missing as the rest of his group loaded a bus to return home Saturday evening. The group returned to search the water, and found Beauchamp's body. Officials say an autopsy will be performed; however no foul play is suspected.
