Metropolis, IL – United Steelworkers Local 7-669 officials say a vote on a tentative contract agreement with Honeywell Corporation has been postponed. The vote had originally been scheduled for Tuesday. Union spokesman John Paul Smith tells the Paducah Sun members will hold a closed-door meeting today, but a ratification vote hasn't yet been scheduled. Smith says the union wants to give its members a chance to read the proposal thoroughly before possibly voting on it this week.
