Clarksville, TN – A rezoning plan for Clarksville and Montgomery County, Tennessee schools will affect over 1,500 students. The plan is set to make changes beginning in the 2012-2013 school year, and affects mostly students who live in the areas of highest growth. The rezoning plan is the result of a year-long study conducted to try and most efficiently use the schools in the city and county as they currently stand. The Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle reports school board members are attempting to avoid building a new school until absolutely necessary.
