Murray, KY – Governor Beshear has named Jenny L. Sewell to the Murray State University Board of Regents. The appointment announced today is among many made to various Universities across the State. Sewell's six year appointment fills the open seat left by William Adams' expired term. Sewell is the owner and director of Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs. Sewell's father, Eddie Beshear, once co-owned the funeral home with Governor's father, Eddie Beshear. A call to the Governor's office regarding this connection has not been returned.
