Louisville, KY – Customers of Evansville-based Integra Bank are now doing business under the Old National Bank brand. Old National acquired Integra after federal regulators shut down the failed bank Friday. Also based in Evansville, Old National is now operating Integra's 52 branches in southern Indiana, western Kentucky and Illinois. President and CEO Bob Jones says the takeover will result in job losses, mostly in management, but it's too early to say how many positions will be cut.
"You know over time there is duplication of service. There will be elimination of some branches as well as some people. We have committed to the folks at Integra that they will be the first to know as we make those decisions over the next few months."
Old National was already operating some 170 branches in the region.
